Headphone buzzing. Is there a fix?

Hey.
I have an xfi audio and a half decent pair of headphones.
I seem to be getting an awful lot of buzzing during 3d games.
The menus on crysis are bad enough but once the game starts it is very irritating.
I am using the front ports on my PC case. I would have thought they would be better insulated.
Is it worth insulating the top of the card? It is pretty close to the graphics card.

Plug your phones into the back of your card, don't fool with the front case ports. And you might have to move it further away from the GPU.

Yep, switching to the rear jacks should fix it and moving to the lowest PCI slot isn't a bad idea either.

You should try everything before posting so we can rule things out.
Have you tried it from the back of the soundcard?
Do the speakers make the same noise?

Hey.
I have moved the card but it didnt help.
Putting the headphone into the card does work, I was kind of hoping there might be a way to fix the front audio port.
Do all cases have this problem?
Thanks for the tips guys.

Oh my mouse is a logitec G7.
And when using the front ports the sound changes when you move the mouse and makes a noise when you move the scroll wheel.

Try some ERS paper on the top of your card. You'll have to insulate it so it doesn't touch anything though. You can try some tin foil first to see if it helps.
