[Exp] SLI performance boost! GeForce 9600GT Review - Page 3

Fact remains though, it's closer to the GTS than the GT due to shader count: 112 VS 128. I too am tired of people refering to the GT when, like I said before, it's much closer to the GTS.
While it may be more beneficial to SLi two GT's it would also cost about $120 more for both cards (eVGA). I don't think that the performance gap justifies the leap in cost; $360 versus $480. $360 is almost par with the cost of a 8800GTX which a 9600GT SLi equipt system would easily outperform (in supporting games). Now if you didn't care about warranties you can pick up two Galaxy 8800GT for $185(AR) each, which in that case it would be worth going with two GT's.
GS' are dead. The only thing the 8800GS has on the 9600GT is when the GS has 768MB of vmem.

I'm seriously disappointed with the 9-series. Seems almost everyone I come across are too. BAD NVIDIA! Go to your corner for time-out.
