I recently (just now) installed an M-Audio Revolution 5.1 sound card in my PC, and attempted to connect the card to my stereo reciever using a new coaxial cable, only to be greeted by the sound of silence. The connection works using the standard headphone-to-RCA hookup, meaning that both the card and reciever are working properly, but I'm looking for the high-def sound that I paid for, darn it!. Any ideas?
