Very sweet. about transferring power wirelessly wouldn't that thing that came out about charging phones and mp3s wirelessly using radio frequencies be useful to this? Like having a small pack of lithium in your pocket wirelessing sending radio signals to the lens be possible?

Maybe they can start using that nano powered shirt they have been talking about to power the lens.

So when everyone starts wearing these, a terrorist sets off an EMP in the middle of a city and everyone's eyes are fried to a crisp.

Other than the obvious safety risks that come into putting some electronics onto your eye, they look awesome!

Its like giving everyone hairdryers that are soaked in water and will electrocute whoever touches them when they're turned on, and giving a terrorist the plug.

Nah, unless the lenses come with a very long extension cord. It's very difficult to shock a person with a battery unless it's rigged up to some major capacitors. The worst that they could do is singe your cornea. Eyes are pretty resilient though.
