DVI to HDMI

Thread Starter
I have a spre 2600XT and i was wondering if its possible to use this with a DVI to HDMI converter. Will i still get a decent HD output? I have a HDMI socket on my tv for HD. I also have a dvi port on my TV but will this be HD? Will i get full 720 or 1080 resolutions?

Iv not used a pc for HD signal so im kinda lost about how it all works.. Any help and information/links would be greatful.

Petras has a dvi - hdmi cable here: http://www.petrastechshop.com/6hdtodvicaty.html

Not sure about the outputs, but I won't see why it wouldn't...

Just use the DVI, the only problem you'll get is no sound but you can plug it into your tv through a sound card.

my sharp aquous auto detects 1080p when my screen resolution is set to 1920x1080 using a DVI to HDMI connector so I don't see any problems.
