Memory has Micron D9's
Can upgrade to Tri or Quad core later
Should be able to get 3Ghz on CPU.
Can run CrossFire

See my sig & specs with what I did for an upgrade at Microcenter for $320. Newegg may be cheaper. Note stock Crysis Benchmark = 37 FPS (Medium) and everything OC'd= 46.5 FPS. 3DMark06 with OC went from 9028 to 10,600 (see link). Therefore I think I got good value from this setup as it overclocked well (eventually... due to my incompetence). But I'm also an AMD bigot so ignored all Intel facts :-)

Athlon X2 4800+ =$99 (stock = 2500; now stable at 3050)
4 GB Corsair memory = $120 (2 GB = $40 after rebate; 2 GB = $80 no rebate)
Gigabyte GA-M57SLI-MY MB = $99 (AM2 form factor)
