480GTX loop (PICS)

Thread Starter
Hi All, Got my My new loop up and running (Still need to bleed off a little air)

VERY Impressed with this new rad.

Old Loop:
Swiftech 220Ultra Cooling CPU Only
E6750 at 3.6 GHZ Idle 35C Load 45C
8800GTS Stock Air Cooling Idle 50C Load 70C

New Loop: (Swapped Swifty Rad for 480GTX)
E6750 at 3.6 GHZ Idle 30c Load 37C (This was a super nice suprise as I figured they would stay the same because of the added heat of the GPU)
8800 GTS now in loop Idle 38C Load 49C

Overall VERY Impressed witht his rad!!!
Conscidering I forgot to order Fans so just running two POS fans right now.

Fans and new Sata cables (Gunna run them behind mobo) will be here tomorrow..will post new temps. But to be honest I am happy as can be with just the two fans!!!!

This is a super buy for anyone looking for a new rad.....!!!!!!

Those are nice temp's, especially running it almost passive...I love mine, no doubt about that...They will even do well with lower cfm skinny fans to, but the higher the better if you have much of a load..360 GTX Beats PA.3 Using 47cfm YL Fans.

EDIT: I sure hope you have all that foam out of your tubing now...Were you still bleeding it then? Thanks for the pic's....

You might be able to just drop your rad all the way down till its resting on desk-top, then the rad-box would just be kind of balencing it and not holding all the weight...Bet your temp's will drop quite a bit more when you get all the foam out...
