Alright, I'm trying to set up wireless on my linux laptop. I set up the network from my windows desktop and am trying to get it to work on my laptop. I'm using a linksys router and an azio wireless pen usb adapter for the linux computer. However, the driver cd doesn't support ubuntu. Am I SOL?

From what i've seen almost NO USB wireless devices work with linux becuase of no driver support. You can try the Ubuntu forums to check, but i doubt it. Does the laptop not have an internal wifi card? If it does it would be much easier to get that work, it may even be natively supported, or at worst you'd have to break out ndis-wrapper to get it working.

No, it doesn't have built in wi-fi. It's a rather old laptop.
