4gb vista 64-bit no dice?!

Thread Starter
So, i decided to break down and install vista 64 bit and i was trying to install, and i kept getting blue screens after vista had installed, but before i would boot into vista for the first time. I then removed 2gb of ram leaving just 2gb in, and it booted up fine. I then finished installing vista, and i tried to install the other 2gb of ram again, having a total of 4gb of ram installed. But it didnt work. Even under 32bit vista, i could at least boot with 4gb of ram installed, it only recognized 2.8gb but it would at least boot! any ideas?

You need to install this:
http://support.microsoft.com/kb/929777

Then just put the 4gigs back in. SP1 fixes this issue, and will be released with a week or so. But you can use that hotfix for now.
