Problem with Rivatune and G92

Thread Starter
I am able to overclock my G92 and already edited my config file with that line of code. My problem is I keep seeing people on the forums with 8800 GTS 512 that have their memory set to 2000+. On my rivatuner it won't even give me the option to go above 1460 and even then it gives me a warning. IS this a problem or is this normal?

Any help is appreciated. thanks.

I think you are confusing memory clock and shader clock? My memory clock setting stops at 1460 as well. Shader clock goes up to 2440.

maybe thats what it was because that would make sense. Is it best to link shader clock to core clock?

Make sure that first of all, Rivatuner detects your default clocks properly, if not, press "reboot now" when prompted instead of pressing "detect now"

you do know that 1460 is like 3920mhz right. there is no possible way to even get it that high. like i have mine set at 1077 which times it by 2 and that is your real speed.

I read to OC them individually Core/Mem/Shaders in that order using ATITool to check for artifacts. I think it's really up to you and how hard you want to push your card. Make sure your fan is doing what you want it to (80-100% when working hard).
