XFX has the double deal, but from reading about their warranty. Changing the fan voids it.

I personally have done an RMA with EVGA and once they get the card thier turn around time is only about 2-3 days. I had a new card back in just under two weeks.

You are wrong, xfx has a modders friendly warranty, which includes changing the fan flashing the firmware etc. As long as u return the card to stock, i.e put the stock cooling on and flash the firmware to the original before rma, they will not refuse the rma.

Get an eVGA 9600gt, seriously. Don't even consider the 8600 anything.

eVGA has amazing customer service, including 24/7 AMERICAN tech support.

You might as well get a 8800GTS at that price, GTS has better cooling then the GT and is better.

Its all very simple...

XFX if you plan on OC'ing or doing any other mods to the card.
EVGA if you plan on stepping up to a better card within 3 months.

I chose XFX 8800GT for obvious reasons.

If you get XFX get the full coverage cooler (stock) not there other one. I would go for the G92 8800GTS if you can, in that case you would have the same EVGA vs XFX thing, but my explanation would remain the same.
