I have been overclocking my cpu recently and iv hit a dead end becuase of my bios option i now my cpu could be pushed alot more, my motherboard is the asrock ALiveXFire-eSATA2 motherboard and its abit poop for overclocking, does anyone now if theres a way to get more options out of bios, as i need to up the south bridge voltage and the max cpu voltage, or is the max temps at the minute the highiest the motherbord can go to ? thanks any help would be greatly apreciated

maybe a volt mod

for a volt mod do u have to use pencil on the mothboard or somthing like that or can is it jsut a bios mod? im a noob at this as you can see lol

Search the net for modded bios's for that board...you may find something available...

have you tried to hit "Ctrl+F1" while sitting in the bios...at the main page...on some boards this uncovers other options

yeah i tryed the control + F1 but nothing happend tryed like most of the F keys aswell lol didn't work :|, ill have a look is it possible to get modded bio's ? thanks for the reply

asrock r crap for OCing IMO!!!!!!!!!! there is nothin to unlock unfortunatly the options are just not there the only option for u is H/W mod either pencil mod ur board or BSEL ur chip

i would just get a new board if OCing is your thing

you should try and look for OCing options for your board and possibly as mentioned, modded BIOS for your board. Just make sure that they are from a trusted source. I agree that Asrock are not good for Ocing, you may want to look elsewere for a better Ocing board such as Asus, gigabyte, DFI, or MSI. They all make good Ocing boards
