Graphic Anomaly Problems

When playing Crysis or when using the Windows vista aero interface, I get rips and tears showing up in windows that are open and when playing Crysis regardless of the aero interface. Its hard to get a screenshot of since it happens for only a split second, but it happens randomly and occurs often. I have the latest drivers for my video card and bios for my motherboard. I only have a 450watt power supply, could this be the problem? It happens regardless if my system is under load or idle though. I'm not sure what to do since it also happened with my old video card, which was a radeon x1900xt, i just replaced. My video card is not overheating and peaking at a temp around 60 degrees celcius under a full load. Crysis is the only game i have installed right now so im not sure if it happens in any other game, though ill be installing others soon. Any suggestions would be helpful.

It sounds like youre getting visual tearing, caused by ur card feeding info to the monitor too fast for the refresh rate. Try forcing vsync in the control panel and see if it goes away.

Forcing v-sync didn't work. The tearing still occurs. When in Crysis however, it not only tears, but lightens certain textures as well as tearing, but it never does it together.

Hmm strange, you have the latest drivers for your monitor if there available? Apart from that I cant think of anything other than trying a older driver for the vid card. What driver version are you running anyways? Ive found the 169.21 to be the best to date.

The drivers I got were from EVGA and are the 169.32 drivers.
