PC problem

Thread Starter
well my sig power supply died last december and I finally got the money for a new one. PC Power and Cooling 750w yay. Well, hooked it up and turn it on. Everything starts up, fans all spin, all normal lights are on. The problem is i'm getting no signal to my moniter. I was afraid something else fried with the psu and wondering if the video card did. The fan on it spins but that doesn't mean anything I guess. Just wondering if it could be a different component though.

I got the card at in the beginning of december so I can send it back but really don't want to, I'm tired of using my old laptop.

Make sure you check all your connections. That's the most common mistake is something is loose or not plugged in. :|

Try and test another monitor lying around or take your tower to a computer repair store and test it there. If it's not the monitor test your card in another rig. If both those parts check out, you probably need to RMA ur PSU.

Your PSU won't fry unless you run it really hard without the fan running.

No, my old psu died and I'm afraid it took other parts with it. I have checked all the connections and they are good.

Try reseating your RAM? And in different slots? I took out my video card and PSU to do some case cleaning and when I plugged everything back in, I had the same problem. Everything is on, but no signal to my monitor. I thought I fried the GPU with static from my body or something. I inserted RAM into different slots and everything was fine. Just a suggestion...
