No need to reinstall Windows. Just uninstall the old processor in the device manager... I've done it several times.

I uninstall everthing with the cpu in device manager in safe mode no luck. Anything I miss here?

Ok I got it fixed, the problem was when I have my old e6600 I choose to boot up with 2 core. I was stupid enough to keep my old bootup setting in msconfig with the multi core botting setting with 2 core Thank guys
