Possible gfx problem

Thread Starter
About three weeks ago my computer started dropping in FPS, I thought this was down to the GPU so i replaced my supposed faulty 8800gts with a 6500, but now my PC shuts down with the 8800GTS and the 6500 in it.

My PC runs for about 2 minutes then turns off, nomatter what graphics card i put into it, could this be a problem with the processor or GFX, or what o.o

Oh and I've already replaced my 650w PSU with a 750w, so my PSU isn't the problem.

It is almost definitely a CPU overheating problem.
Once again...

How can this be fixed? I havn't been messing with the fans or BIOS.

First look into the case and make sure the CPU fan is actually spinning. Without any airflow, it only takes about a minute for a modern cpu to hit critical temps.
