E8500 Setup

Thread Starter
I am building a new ultimate gaming rig. The first wack will hopefully arrive 2moro! The first shipment will contain:
my E8500
Asus Striker II Extreme
2GB Crucial Tracer (1066Mhz)
Antec 900 Gaming Case
and my 2x BFG 8800GTX OC2's!

I'm hoping this would be the start of my new beast. I'm new to Overclocking and wanted to give it a try, so i went for the E8500 and the striker extreme, 2GB of ram (using a 32bit vista untill i c a need to upgrade to the 64bit), Case... i know its a cramped case, but it does enough cooling and the 8800's have been pushed as far as they can go, so they wont need overclocking! i believe the rest of my PC should be in the 'system' part below. What i was wondering is there anything i should change or add? and what extra cooling should be there (if really needed) and any other info people have about this?

Thank you for reading that unnecessarily long paragraph!

Well.. You will more than likely have to lap the TRUE 120 as it has a very convex base.

That is all.

Wat do u mean by lap? Get rid of it or what? I know its a big HS, but is it too big for the case?

well 1 thing i can advise to you, since i am an antec ninehundred owner my self. Go to the store, buy pantyhose, very thin ones and pull them over your front 2 fan brackets.

There was an FAQ somewhere on OCN about this, so credits to that guy, but it works perfect for me! It's easier dusting some "filters" off once a week then cleaning your whole set up with compressed air
