Whereas a standard LCD currently has an average of 8-12 millisecond response time, an OLED can have less than 0.01ms response time.
im pretty sure once oleds we can forget the whole response time issue... and with 1,000,000:1 contrast ratio...

I recently bought my LG226WT(5000:1, 2m/s(ducks) respone time).

I saw the LG227WT(10000:1, 2m/s(~ducks again)) next to it and really could tell no difference(and I did spend a while doing this, lol). So felt saving £50 and getting the brushed aluminium on the 6 was worth it.

Frankly even at 5000:1 I find that if I spend a long time staring at this monitor CAN cause sore eyes(lol if the 10,000:1 is brighter is twice as bright... maybe it's a good thing I got the 6)... I don't see how the darker can be darker than it is already. Though thats coming from some pretty awfull previous monitors so what do I know

Heres the a link to the store I got it from with reviews, specs, and so on. The LG's are for sure bloody nice monitors. http://www.novatech.co.uk/novatech/s...html?LG-L227WT
