Thanks for the heads up.. had no idea about this case.

Essentially a Vanilla CM690 ?!

Whats the Point?...Is this like the Vanilla CM690? I guess the only difference is the Hard Drive direction/fewer drive slots..(or your choice rather ) removable HD casing? This case also left out the Case Floor fan to direct air from the front intake up to the exhaust fans. It also doesn't have an external E-Sata. It left out the LEGS on the bottom of the case causing your Power Supply to suck in.. uhm... air through the cracks of your wood floor?.. It doesn't come with the Plastic Clips against the motherboard Tray to keep your Wires directed and Neat. It also doesn't have any protection over the top fans or Dust Shields.

This thing better be $20 US if i were ever to buy it over the CM 690

Still a nice case nonetheless. Just dont see the point.

If the price is cheaper than the CM690 than its nice i guess. But i dont see why anyone wouldn't just get the CM690. I got mine for $40 after rebates.

I think some of those pictures might be from early models though, because this picture on Cooler Master's Centurion 590 page clearly shows the holes for the 120mm bottom fan. This picture also shows some kind of feet on the bottom of the case - not the large, rubberized ones on the RC690, but it won't just be directly on the floor.

I sort of like parts of it - the front panel and top panel in particular look much nicer without all the extra plastic/mesh bits, although I would have liked to see Cooler Master raise up the mesh to prevent fans from hitting the side of the case without using grommets. A raised barrier over the rear blowhole fans would have been nice as well, something like what the Antec P182 has.

Overall, I'm on the fence regarding this case. Some design choices don't seem as good as they could have been, but others help keep the case to a more minimal design that I like.

Somewhat subtle, love the amount of vents for fans. Nice looking case.
