Killerfromsky, it's been a while since I've heard about this processor. I believe they were only around for a few months. The main difference between the 3600+ and all the other 939's was the lower TDP(89w). I too am a little curious about some OCing results.

Good luck

Marager, I only remember hearing about it for the first few months of it's release. The only difference is the TDP. Here it is from newegg: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16819103222.

Hope this helps

I actually just bought one of these off newegg about a month ago. First off, its only 256k L2 cache per core, but was able to get it to 2.6g with stock heatsink, running at 33 idle 41 full load

i can als buy a used 4200+ x2, wich can be clocked to 2.750 and i can get it by car..
but it will be 75 euro and the 3600+ would be 65 euro?

EDIT**

Found a 3800, used, but the cheapest of them all.
So prices are:

3600: 65
3800: 60
4200: 75

wich would be my best bet?
note that my motherboard will only go up to 260FSB

Given your motherboard's limitations with scaling its HTT clocks ("FSB"), it looks as if your best bet is to go with the X2 4200+. Its 11x CPU multiplier is the highest of the chips you listed, and this should allow you (in theory) to reach a higher CPU speed compared to the cheaper CPUs.
