The Orange Box, great deal for 5 amazing games all of which are FPS. It includes Portal, which was voted best game of 2007 by Games For Windows Magazine .

COD4 and Crysis. COD4 is brilliant online and has a great single player.

Crysis is brilliant offline, however you might need some custom configs for the graphics. Multiplayer is OK, can get rather addictive but PB servers are a must because of hackers

get teh crysis,cod4 would be over in a flash and orange box may be good in gameplay but nothing beats the experience of playing crysis in full glory, using very high dx9 hacks.
and playing on the delta difficulty is a real treat.

The order of games you should get:

1. Orange Box
2. Call of Duty 4
3. Crysis
4. Another copy of the Orange Box to give to someone else who isn't so fortunate, so that they may experience the awesome.

Orange Box, no question. Best game purchase one could ever make. Ever.

But Call of Duty 4 is great too.

Yeah you won't regret getting Orange Box. Crysis however...it's only fun the first 3 hours. Cod4 should keep you busy for a very while.

I LOVE Battlefield 2142. Logged over 250 hours!
Great FPS (for multi-player).

For great single-player (and some good multi-player), get the orange box.
I personally don't like Team Fortress 2 or Counter Strike...so I only see the orange box as a single player set of games.

Note: No matter what you do, get the orange box!
