ASUS WL-500G Router

I have a Buffalo WHR-HP-G54 with Tomato. Had a Linksys WRT54GL with DD-WRT which I gave to a friend, so I need a new one. The Asus is the same price as a Linksys put has a USB port which I could use for file storage. Anyone here have experience with the Asus?

Edit: I was going to put OpenWRT on it http://wiki.openwrt.org/OpenWrtDocs/...e/Asus/WL500GP.

I wouldn't buy anything that isn't DD-WRT or Tomate compliant. No experience with ASUS networking equipment. They just got into thsi market, so personally i'd shy away from them for an established name like Linksys, Buffalo, etc.

The Asus is complaint with all of the firmwares. http://wiki.openwrt.org/OpenWrtDocs/...e/Asus/WL500GP

You can use it as print server, file server, etc.
