Nvidia SLI help!

Thread Starter
I just equipped my computer with two XFX Geforce 8600GT 512mb DDR2 540mhz core. Well, whenever I try to play games like World of Warcraft, Counter-Strike: Source, or Counter-Strike 1.6 the screen flashes, and tears. Now, if I play Unreal Tournament III, everything works perfect, and I can run the game maxed out.

I contacted XFX already, and they suggested I try each card seperate with SLI, just to make sure that there are no problems with either card. Upon doing so, I have found no problems, so any help would be highly appreciated!

Thanks a lot!

Make sure Vsync is ON. in each game's options menu it should have a Vsync option

no Vsync causes tearing.

Agreed Vsync is a PITA, also check in the control panel and see which SLI each game is set to run. Alternate frame or Half the screen, and try each one for each game.
