I used to have something similar to what you have, except worse (256mb ram, 750mhz, 145w lol), the only reason I even have the 9250 PCI was the old mobo didn't have any AGP slots. Halo didn't run well at all on it, even on the lowest res. Could probably get through playing the game on a 9250, but it is not enjoyable.

I would say if you really want a new PCI graphics card, besides the obligatory upgrade comp comment, get something better then a 64-bit 9250/FX 5500.

1.6 can run on anything lol

It can run on my computer I bought in 1999 (with it's crappy SiS integrated and 384MB SDRAM)

It even runs on my school's computers smoothly (Yes some people play CS at school luls)

well, i have a ATI 7000 coming soon , ill see if it will run , if it frys the psu , i have plenty more to toss in here out of duplicate machines
