OK, I've been reading, but can't find a clear solution. What method do I use to apply the AS5 with the stock Heatsink/fan

just put i small dot in the middle thats what i do

i usually put thermal paste on both heat sink and cpu, i get awesome temps to.

A small dot in the middle of a dual core cpu is good enough? if you put paste on both cpu and heatsink how did you do it?

my zalman paste has a brush not a tube sorry.

I just Cover the whole cpu and heatsink

You really do not need a lot. When you put the heatsink back on, it'll be so tight that it will spread the as5 evenly over the cpu and heatsink.
