CPU SPread Spectrum: Disabled
PCIE Spread Spectrum: Disabled
RAM Timing: 5-5-5-15

The other settings are Auto.
These are the data from ASUS pc PROBE 2:
Vcore: 1.45v (Manually set @ 1.5v)
+3.3: 3.2v (AUTO)
+5: 5.06v (AUTO)
+12: 12.10v (AUTO)

I had OC my Q6600 to 3.69Ghz... But again, I am unable to get my RAM to its stock speed of DDR2 1000.. I am currently running DDR2 984 (5-5-5-15)
Here are the settings:
DRAM: DDR2 984 (There are other higher DDR2 settings but they just won't boot!!!)
DRAM Static Control: Disabled
AI Clock: Auto
Transaction Booster: Disabled
Relax: 0
CPU: 1.500625v
CPU PLL Volt: 1.52v
NB: 1.41v
DRAM VOLT: 2.14v (Asus Probe sees it @ 2.18v)
FSB: 1.52v
SB: 1.1v
DDR CONTROLLER REF VOLT: DDR2_REF
CPU Spectrum & PCIe Spectrum: Disabled

Can you guys tell me how to get my RAM to its stock speed of DDR2 1000???? I raised the DRAM VOltage to 2.20v and I get the "DET DRAM" error from the lcd poster..

thx

Set PLLV to auto, NBV to 1.55V, trans booster to auto, then test.

A little update on my OC.........finally stable for 1.5 hours of Everest stress (everything checked except HDDs like the previous thumbnails) at 475 FSB DDR2-1140. I'm pretty excited.......I'm getting crazy memory bandwidth.

Tomorrow or later tonight I'm going for 480

Im running my 1.8 to 2.2 volt rated teamEXtreme at 2.22V in bios...the yellow led is on the ram on the board indicating its still ok..
My NB volts are also in the yellow at 1.55 V..still acceptable..
I find this board very sensitive to the ram and ram settings and timings...
Running 3.6G at 9 multi /400.Fsb at 400 and ram at 800 meg..works for me..

Do you guys find this a difficult board to over clock successfully ?

I think there are a lot of similarities with the Blitz Formula, so could it be a good idea to add it as well? Anyway rep for you man for taking the time to do this!

Thanks The Blitz and Formula are indeed very similar beasts, but they run a different chipset (P35 for the Blitz and X38 for the Formula) so hardware wise they will look similar, but bios settings will probably be a bit different due to the chipset.

The bios setup actually only differs by a few settings.

Difficult board to overclock? Not at all really, especially with quads its dead easy, you can jump from stock to 3.6+ in a matter of seconds, i didnt even bother to test lower than 3.6 to tell you the truth.
The LCD Poster makes it all that easier to know where you went wrong in your overclock as well.
It is a bit sensitive concerning ram (remember it overvolts so if you have a 2.22 value in bios your sticks will be closer to 2.3) and has a vdroop problem (when the processor is under load, the voltage supplied to it does not remain steady, but drops a bit which can cause instability or higher values for idle to be stable at load)
That can be fixed by the vdroop pencil mod.

Hi, you mentioned something about the RAM.. As you can see from my previous posts here, I am still having issue on getting my OCZ DDR2 1000 Platinum Edition to go to its stock speed on my Q6600 @ 3.71Ghz.. Been trying like mad but it just won't reach the level of DDR2 1000 or higher with my current processor speed..
Here is my BIOS settings:

DRAM Static control: Disabled
AI Clock: Disabled
Transaction Booster: Disabled
Relas: 0
CPU Volt: 1.493 (CPU-Z report at only 1.44v)
CPU PLL: 1.50v
NB: 1.37v
DRAM VOlt: 2.14v (ASUS Probe report at 2.18v)
FSB: 1.44v
SB: 1.1v
DDR2 Controller Ref Volt: DDR2_REF
PCIe and CPU Spectrum: Disabled

I hope this helps..
thx
