Both Everest and Sandra say bandwidth is about 8300MB/s. Everest reports latency as 46.5ns, and Sandra says 59ns.

No idea about resolution problem.
That's a really valid question. With Loadline enabled I see absolutely 0 droop. 1.400V in bios =1.400V under load.

Thread Starter
The board does have a big vdroop prob, try the pencil mod mentioned at the beginning of the thread, that should help out with that problem.
The difference between the bios voltage setting and the voltage in windows is not something to worry about, but vdroop would be to get more stability.

Cant put my finger on the resolution problem right now, thats a weird one but possibly drivers related?

Here's the vdroop mod on this page if that doesn't help enough.

I had tried every possible methods that everyone here in this thread had told me to do in order to achieve my RAM stock speed of DDR2 1000.. However, still no luck yet.. I manage to run my Q6600 @ 3.6Ghz.. I set the CPU voltage at BIOS to be 1.5125 but in windows, it is only registering as 1.456 and under Prime95 for 8 hours it only read at 1.41v.. This is VERY STRANGE.... Also, I am aware that my Maximus Formula had overvolt the ram by default of 0.04v right? I had set my RAM voltage to be 2.14v but it turned out to be 2.18v.. I had tried to add voltage to my RAM up till 2.3v and still no luck.. Well, this is strange and I am starting to give up.. Btw, this thread is a real great help and I hope that people continue to pour in information inside here..

Thanks

EDIT: Do someone here know why is it that sometime, each time I restarted my system, my monitor would display a strange resolution (1600x1200) whereas my optimum resolution is (1680*1050).. Is it because I am not applying enough power to my VGA card???
We may need to wait/hope a little longer for a BIOS regarding the RAM speed issue on the Maximus formula as it has no tRFC settings above 42 at the moment which help in getting those higher frequencies. I have seen various BIOS's available but these are by no means fully tested/official yet.

Guys.. Thx for all the replies and help..
I had DISABLED the LOADLINE CALIBRATION and set CPU Voltage to 1.467 and now it is 1.400v in windows.. I don't even want to try to run Prime95 as I know it will fail.. I will try to raise the voltage to 1.51v again so that it will idle at 1.46v.. Do you guys think that 1.46v for Q6600 3.6Ghz is too high?
I guess I should wait for the motherboard bios too in order to get the speed I want (DDR2 1000)
I will restart my computer now and set the Voltage right.. Hope to hear from you guys soon!

EDIT: I had DISABLED "Loadline Calibration" and set CPU Voltage at 1.5125v. Now, CPU-Z and ASUS probe are reporting CPU voltage of 1.45v at windows..

That's why you may have to leave the FSB strap to NB at Auto like Ericeod said on top of page 5 of this thread.

I have a problem with my board. I can only enter the BIOS after a clear CMOS. What do you guys recommend doing?
