I've actually encountered that problem, after a few months of usage (hard?) my Dominators (1066Mhz, rev 1.2 imported from the USA) all went downhill, eventually 3/4 sticks failing at the same time.
They were being pushed hard though, so that could be a reason.
Now im more conservative with my current sticks, just to keep them happy.

After that experience im a bit worried really, so every once in a while i do a memtest run just to be sure everything is running as it should be. I was running my Doms around 1100 at 5-5-5-15 and they seemed all nice and happy before they crapped out. In all reality, these were bought as a batch from the USA between 3 friends, and for all of us most sticks crapped out, 2 of us running Maximus and the other a Blitz. Might have been a bad batch? Or Republic of Gamers mobos from Asus just deciding to feed?

I hate the 1004 BIOS.
If you mean for that 6700 I'd say 0903. If you have anE8400/E8500 it has to be 1004.
0903 was also the best for me for my Quad.
I have seen no problems with my RAM either in response to your other question.

I still need a rear I/O shield and I found this on Asus Estore.

http://estore.asus.com/shop/item.asp?itemid=4227

That would work with my board right?

Also whats a EL Back Light?

Any finds on a LCD Poster as well?

Thanks
