Which set of 2x1gb of ddr2-800? - Page 4

since that has a 10x multiplier, and you only want to get to 3.2, you would only need an fsb of 320. This board can hit easily 400fsb, and usually 450. This board would be far more than enough for that CPU, plus you get SLI capabilities for the future. Plus, its cheaper than the DS3L.

Wow. Um, I don't know if I can turn that down. That's $29 off my bill! How late is too late for me to buy it, and how do I pay you? And can you take pics of what I'd be getting? Like you know, retail box, no retail box, hsf, no hsf, etc. And why did you upgrade to the quad so quickly? I'm sorry for being a tough customer.

Hmm, well I'm not so sure. I compared the reviews, and in general, the P5N got more negative reviews than the DS3L did.

But I still wonder: how does the P35 stack up against the nForce 650i and vice versa?

P35 usually has slightly better memory bandwith performance and reaches higher FSB, while the P5N has SLI performance and also has great overclocking potential. I can take some pictures of the motherboard in action right now! It will come with the original box and cables, and the NB comes with a passive cooling solution (no fan, just aluminum). As for the upgrades, I decided that it was time. I'll upload the pics of my comp soon!

Does the p5n allow exact memory timing changes?

I just found out through a review on NewEgg that the DS3L is a great overclocking board except that it doesn't allow those exact memory timing changes. Some overclocking board!

this has so many memory options that I leave most of them at auto...I don't even know most of them
