That is a insane boost in performance

However it said something to the effect of, The 174 drivers boast Crysis performance by 65 percent on geforce 9600 card.

Soo do they mean, Crysis performed crappy with this new released card and they fixed its performance, or that any owner of geforce 7800 or 8 series will see a 65 percent boost,,, Im pretty stoked about these drivers. Will have to wait for 64 version to officially come out. I cant fool around with betas when my system is stable ya know!
174.xx drivers were developed for the 9600gt and made available on Nvidia's Website. Some "unknown" ethusiast modified the install program to work for other nvidia cards (ie 8800gt). These modified drivers (and it's really just the inf installer) is what you all are seeing pop up on other websites and are BETA drivers.

So - if what ENTERPRISE is saying is true, then it most likely will be deleted.
While it is better to be safe than sorry and check on the OP's ability to post this, I would think since drivers are available to anyone it shouldn't be a problem. Windows Update checks to see that you bought an MS product first, nVidia could care less.
I still think it should be checked with mods first because the rules aren't super clear.
