The psu is an enermax 400W ...I know this is low and I am planning to get a replacement soon.

Well that's your problem. You didn't/can't plug the power in

I think you need a new PSU that has that connector

the 2600 im looking at comes with a power adapter but the original post if you turn on ur pc and it beeps and u get no video then either the card is no good or the slot is no good if you installed the card while the pc was plugged into the wall chances are u fried the mobo

Its probably your psu...it looks like that card uses a six pin power connector. Your psu will probably have enough wattage if its over or equal to what the card needs, just get an adapter if you don't have any six pin(pci-e) power connectors...something like this...http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16812887001
