Help! My BFG 6600 GT OC X Fan is broken and I voided my warrenty!

A year or two ago I spent a little on a BFG 6600 GT card. This cards fan started making some ridiculously loud noise. I tried to call their support number to ask for help and they informed me that I voided my warranty by removing the fan (I tried to fix the noise)! Whoops!

My question is very simple and I thought I would ask this community since overclocking comes up every time I search for graphics card fans. Does anyone know where I can find a replacement fan (or alternative). I would like to replace the fan only as opposed to installing an entirely new heat sync. The guys at BFG were pretty much d*@%$ once I told them I removed the fan and wouldn't fwd me anywhere. Not even to their Fan providers.

If nobody knows where to find this specific fan I would be interested in other heat removing alternatives but would probably need a little more help installing any alternative solution. Any advice is greatly appreciated. (I do not need advice on how not to void warranties. I already learned the hard way). My personal computer is down until I fix this which stinks.

Can you just put it back on? Just send it to them if you can put it back on. No way for them to be able to tell it's the same person.

Just put the fan back on the card.
They will replace.
Tell them the fan is loud.

BFG has the best customer serveice Ive dealt with so far.

I had given them the serial number at the beginning of the call before they told me I voided the warranty.

I will try calling again tomorrow to try again w/o telling them I removed the fan. See if I get anywhere.

You should call back and say you only tried to quiet their loud fan.
I rmad a card through them with a capacitor broke off and they sent me a new one.
I bet if you talked nice to them and explained that you are gonna buy a new one soon then they would replace.
Tell them if your current one doesnt have a good warrnaty then you wont be buying their new 9800gx2.
That should do the trick!!!

I also have this problem. Soon I will replace the board with a DVD and blue-ray capable one. I have found a replacement fan at: http://www.sidewindercomputers.com/evvctwvgaco.html for about $11.00. According to the ad, you will need the 7.79 CFM (Cubic Feet per Minute for air flow volume) version.

If you find anything better, I would be interested to know.
