I was wondering what 2 x 9600GT would be like for performance, it's only $359 for a pair of them:

I can find you a better price:

$151 for a Verto 9600 GT 512MB
http://www.microcenter.com/single_pr...uct_id=0282050

So it would cost just $302 for a wicked SLI setup.
I cannot find a better deal anywhere, for any card at the moment. Talk about performance per dollar...

Yes. That's what we saw in the recent 9600GT SLI review.

Yeah nice find on the cheaper price but I'm an evga fanatic, that lifetime warranty is so worth the extra $29 to me. I have sent several cards back to them as RMA and was never disappointed.

Thats why I buy BFG...

Lifetime warranty. Bought 3 cards in 3 1/2 years. Overclocked them to hell and back. Never had to RMA a single one. Gave them away to buddies when I was done. They're all still champing on.

Reliabilty is a factor overlooked in our community. BFG may be slightly more expensive, but for an extra $20, if I don't have to RMA a card, it's worth almost double (the extra paid) to me.

I think more people should take notice of the 'reliability' factor.

EDIT: People usually complain of BFG's price, but how often do you hear of someone RMA'ing a BFG card.
