I had just re-arranged my cables and my temperature went down by 3C... This is hard to believe but it is true.. Amazing just how it will pay to have a neat cable management system...

EDIT: I had just modded my Arctic Freezer 7 Pro by adding a 80mm Antec Tricool fan at HIGH setting at its back.. It has dropped temperature by another 4C.. This is AMAZING!!

Hi guys..
I have a quick question. I am currently running my Q6600 @ 3.6 (1.45v) and I have 2 choice:

450 x 8 with DDR2 900
or
400 x 9 with DDR2 960

Both are stable and I would like to know which is better..

Thanks.

EDIT: My previous post (Upstairs) was 2 weeks old. So I believe that this is not considered as double posting right?
If it did, please forgive me since I have a dire issue that needs to be answered.
Thank You.

Not considered double posting but you would of been better just making a new thread since this one is 2 weeks old.

The bold one is better.

Anyway, thanks again to your reply! REP + again!

Hey I have a question for you......

You keep saying "after" when you take your temp readings. You realize you are supposed to take them "during" or "while" the test is running... not after. Your temps will go back to idle load even 4 seconds after you hit stop =X

What I really meant was "During" the real test itself. Forgive me for my bad interpretation. It must have caused a great confusion. I am aware of the temperature drop even after 2 seconds of Prime95 test. I had always kept coretmp open during the test itself to monitor the temperatures real time. Hope that this will clear your confusion.
