Why can't anyone give me a straight answer? Just how bad is this? I found a website that said 69C was the highest safe temp for a Celeron D.
Open CPU-z and find the revision.

These are the 3.33GHz Celerons.

And you probably do have a Pentium D, technically. One of the cores was probably faulty so they disabled the core and sold it as a Celeron
cant complain..

The Celeron D has the "D" it because Intel put 512KB on the L2 cache. The core was also 90nm and 65nm. Compared to the old "Celeron" with 256KB L2 Cache and 130nm (and higher). If you think about it. It was named with the D to start a new type of Celeron with higher L2 Cache

The new Celeron with Dualcore (I own) is called E1200. It's 2 Celeron D's that share 512KB L2 Cache and use there own L1 that has 32KB of storage
