The E8400 can OC further, how do you know that?

AMD bashing is getting really old and boring now....

I dont understand why every single thread ends in flames.....

AMD released a Tri-Core, good business move to make good use of their processors which might have some problems. I dont understand why its being taken so personally.... It is a company, they will do whatever they can to maximise their profit. If you dont like it, dont buy it.
Solution to the AMD hate.

Even though I will say now that I am not a Fanboy of either company, someone will probably call me a fanboy..

I completely agree. Even though I prefer Intel, I know that without AMD, we'd all be screwed. Let's hope they can get some deals with OEMs and get some revenue back so they can (hopefully) give Intel more of a run for it's money next time around.

I think '3' will be good for marketing, say if they sold a computer with 300GB, 3-cores and 3GB of RAM - they could put the 'three is a magic number' twist on it, it could work quite well (performace wouldn't be at all bad either)

This is nice to see.I'm not a fanboy and not mad about anything that's been said,I find it amusing.I just like to point out when people get insulting or personal over this stuff.I just find it strange that most AMD threads get hijacked by Intel people who will tell anybody that will listen that they have a piece of crap and are a moron for buying it.I suppose if AMD were on top it would be the other way around.A lot of this doesn't have anything to do with which one you buy but just comes down to personality. If I had no financial restrictions I might own a Intel beast but I wouldn't go around telling people AMD sucks or it's stupid to buy.
