[TH] Tri Core Phenom reviewed - Page 6

Lets put it this way...AMD is, and always will be the underdog. Thats why I kinda like them. The fact still remains that Intel has always stayed ahead of the game and thats why they are so popular. Tri-Core will be a flop I guarantee it.

Well, that was a load read.

I think this is a sufficient way of doing business and helping us out. Even though it is not as good as a Quad, but it is better than a Dual Core. For that, by means, it will be in the mid-range of price, I'd say. Which then we can overclock the hell of it, and make it greater. Someone had said, MADMAX, if I remember said that overclocking was to use weaker and cheaper processors and taking them to their potential. Not everyone has money so it helps us consumers to try to have the right price and average performance; the rest is up to us to make it well.

Good AMD. I love them both, though only have used Intel. Was going after for a cheap AMD build.

Where was you before Core 2 Duo? Athlon 64 owned P4 and Intel for quite a while - only since Core 2 Duo and Quad has Intel excelled, then before Athlon Intel were better, it's a cycle - AMD will be top again and then Intel again, etc...

If I remember correctly AMD put the hurt on Intel for a couple of years before C2D showed up. AMD cpu's outran intel's hands down. What goes around comes around and AMD will be back soon enough. I have always liked AMD and will continue to buy their products. Not because I am a fan boy but because I want too. I don't need to have the best for everyone else, just the best for me! The tri-cores will do fine!

A fanboy is defined as somebody who buys products from a company (Despite their lack of performance and price) simply because its from that company.

An example would be "I buy Intel because it has higher Hertz!"

Or

AMD doesn't suck, they're just smart by selling a processor with a core that doesn't flat-out work.

Brand me a fanboy or don't ... but at least I go with the products with the most performance. I'll go to AMD if they ever surpass Intel in the price-to-performance market.

Until then - enjoy the TriCores lol
You obviously dont buy the product with the most performance. You only have an E6400. Which has 2mb disabled L2 cache. You yourself go against what you are saying. Only a fan boy could manage that.
