Now if you take into account that a E6400 can do a lot more clock for clock than the AMD, and the fact that you are comparing three slower AMD cores to two fast intel cores. Than the Intel would probably out pace it every time in multi threaded applications and would blow it away in non multi threaded applications and games.
well, seeing as how AMDs new B3 quads
can clock up to 3.2ghz fairly easily, I would be temped to say that you, my good sir, are very, very wrong.
because if a quad can hit 3.2, then a tri-core thats putting out less heat and using less volts @ stock will probably make it even higher.
