James im back to 3.0ghz until we get this diff BIOS issue worked out. Spear has exact same board with older BIOS...thats where the problems originated

at 3.0ghz it stable as gibralter i ran orthos for hours not a glitch
and...at 15.5 multi and 14.5vcore i can run orthos all day also which is 3.1ghz
at 3.0ghz im at 15x multi and 13.5 vcore

if u check the RAM at newegg these are the default settings for this RAM

BIOS's change from version to version.
Sometimes support is added for CPU's and such or the range of a setting can increase or even a new setting added.
This is normal.
You only need to adjust the settings we mention and ignore the rest.

Ok try these settings.

CPU multi 13
CPU voltage 1.45
CPU freq 250
CPU<->NB HT Speed 5x

Ram
Memory Clock Freq 667
4-4-4-12 CAS-TRCD-TRP-TRAS
2.1 volts
2T
Trc 26
Trfc 4 (your manual says 0 through 4 settings)
Async Latency 8

If these fail the try it with HT speed at 4x.
If that fails put back to 5x and bump vcore and try.
Then 4x
You get the idea.

NB<->SB adjustable frequency (auto)
CPU<->MCP55 HT speed (5x)
CPU<-> MCP55 HT width (16 16)
NB<->SB HT speed (5x)
NB<->SB HT width (16 16)

THIS is what MY BIOS's Chipset page says

I dont HAVE a CPU<->NB setting i assume u mean the CPU<->MCP55 HT setting?
post #58 of 110
That must be it but you should have found it on Auto and when manually set their is a 1x through 5x setting.
This basically multi's your FSB and gives you the HT Link Speed which is on the bottom left corner of CPU-Z
