yea its Dual channel

tried this as per suggestion from House of Help Corsair forums:

ok ...did all you said...no joy!

CPU Vcore Offset (Disabled)
DDR2 Termination Voltage (0.5 x DDR2 Voltage) can be set to 0.6 also
CPU to NB HT Voltage 1.25
NB to SB HT Voltage 1.35
NB Core/PCI-E Voltage 1.25
SB Core/PCI-E Voltage (auto)
SB Standby Core Voltage 1.7
CPU<->MCP55.... 5x
NB<->SB......... 5x
CPU freq.....................214mhz or 216mhz
CPU Voltage.................1.40
CPU multiplier...............15.0

would give you 3.210 or 3.240

your memory should be at 2.1v you need to have it at 4-4-4-12 2T
Set the Memory Clock Freq. 800

BUT..did make SOME headway....

..at least got the memory to 4-4-4-12, 2T 2.1v @ 23 clocks(auto)

Could you please explain what you mean by that....aka the exact setting names and why you think it will help?

FYI: at the screenie settings I got 11925 on 3DMark05

In your bios where the clock speeds and fsb are. There are also pciE controls. Make sure they are @ 100Mhz each.

well that helped a little i lasted 1.5 minutes on Orthos blend priority 9 : )

These were the settings along with both PCI-E busses locked at 100mhz and with and without trc=26, trfc=3 and max Async=8ns

at 667mhz OR 800mhz and with CPU<->MCP55 at 3x and NB<->SB at 3x no go!

CPU Vcore Offset (Disabled)
DDR2 Termination Voltage (0.5 x DDR2 Voltage) can be set to 0.6 also
CPU to NB HT Voltage 1.25
NB to SB HT Voltage 1.35
NB Core/PCI-E Voltage 1.25
SB Core/PCI-E Voltage (auto)
SB Standby Core Voltage 1.7
CPU<->MCP55.... 3x
NB<->SB......... 3x
CPU freq.....................214mhz
CPU Voltage.................1.45
CPU multiplier...............15.0
4-4-4-12, 2T, 2.1v @23 clocks(auto)

Question: when changing the HT multiplier should I be changing both CPU<->MCP55.....AND.......NB<->SB...or just....CPU<->MCP55?

I believe CPU<->MCP55 leave the other at 5. I don't have that version bios. I know it's different.

try 15.5 and keep your ram around 400. Maybe until you get a stable oc use auto ram timings.

If i could afford or had use of digital camera I'd PM u shots of my whole BIOS but I dont :/

I even got email to ASUS engineers as per suggestion by ASUS tech support for any manuals or documents that match my BIOS...I doubt they gonna come up with anything though or it'd already be posted on website MY manual is the lastest they have on website.
