Does Orthos work with Vista Ultimate x64?

I apologize if this is the wrong section to ask, but is Orthos compatible with Vista Ultimate x64? The reason I ask is no matter what settings I use on my rig(stock or OC), when I run 2 instances of Orthos one fails within the first second of testing while the other instance keeps on running fine. I ran Memtest and everything seems fine with my RAM, so I'm wondering if it's a compatibility issue, if that makes sense?

Umm yes Ofcourse lol

If its failing or giving errors ure overclock isnt stable.

Im running it on Vista 64bit works perfectly.

The Best test for stability is LARGE FTT.

This test can crashes within seconds.

Usually upping ure Vcore solves this problem aslong as ure NB and SB voltages are good.

If say u want 3.4ghz probably

NB 1.4v
Sb 1.5v
Vcore 1.40-1.47 depending on ure board and vdrop.

It fails at stock settings as well. It probably runs well for you since you are probably only running 1 instance because you have a dual core processor.

Thats Very wierd.

Not sure man

Are ure Memory Voltages at their stock 2.1v i think for those chips ?

Have u tried running ure memory at like 800 mhz instead of 1000 ?

I don't think so. When I use XP the 2 instances of Orthos do not fail. This is why I thought it could be a Vista issue.

Yes it does but with your processor you should be using Prime95 v25.6 (and only this verison or later)

Orthos does not officially support quads, you will need to run two instances which can cause errors even on a stable OC.

Download: http://www.majorgeeks.com/Prime95_d4363.html

EDIT: There is no reason to run 4 instances of this. This version will automatically detect your cores and launch the threads needed.

Yes it does, run two instances and go set the affinity on one of them too just two cores and youll get all four cores under load.

I run two instances (loads four cores) with my quad and vista 64bit premium.

Its easiest to just run OCCT though as it will test up to 16cores at once.
