CoD4 worth it? - Page 3

I have CoD4 for both 360 and PC.

i must say, i play it on the 360 more. many reasons why.

for one, stats are hackable. which is what i did, edited my stats and blew the fun out of that for me. but that's my fault.

second, there's quite a number of hackers every time i play, doesn't matter the server. PB isn't as effective as it used to be, and that proposes a problem if you're even trying to look for an enjoyable server.

The reason i play it more on 360? for one, I'm the only "PC Gamer" amongst my friends. they all have it for 360, and i play with them. second, servers aren't chock full of people to the point that you can't spawn. its not like CoD2 where you spawn on the safer side. you get setnaded just as much in this game as you did back then. i don't get setnaded on the 360 version, ever.

to be honest, i thought I'd enjoy it more for PC as i do every other game. if you're looking to buy CoD4 and have a console, however... I'd recommend getting it on that before the PC version. there's nothing wrong with it on the PC platform, but judging from what i play more, the console versions are just a lot more fun. that is, unless you have a ton of friends who play online via Xfire and such.

Oi... PB... everybody's cup of tea. Didn't like it with AA, sure as heck not gonna like it with CoD4. Looks like I'm gonna have to deal with it again if I want to play CoD4.
pb on call of duty is neat, its not like AA, AA's pb is annoying, but u could just use pbsetup to fix ur pb issues in AA.
