temps are concerning me.

Thread Starter
Ok here are the temps of my computer after I overclocked it from 2.2 to 2.93

http://i206.photobucket.com/albums/b...r/untitled.jpg

its quite concerning me cause it seems really high. Can anyone tell me if I could monitor my fan speed and how (Arctic freezer 7 pro) to a higher level?
And Another thing since I'm not exprienced with ocing i changed my settings from 200mhz fsb to 266mhz and I put my memory to 3 spd so its 800 now like always. When I check on cpu-z my timings are 6-6-6-18 while it was supposed to be something like 5-5-5-15 I think. so how do I change it. should I? and any addiotional information would be appriciated cause I want to learn more.
Thanks in advance
(here's the cpu-z memory info

Post a screenshot of the Memory tab in CPU-Z. If your ram is running DDR2 800, the ram should be operating at 400MHz.

Also, from the main bios screen, try hitting [Ctrl+F1] for advanced memory options. Then go to the M.I.T. section and change the ram settings.

Note that the board defaults to 1.8v to the ram. So if your ram require more voltage, you will have to add to the RAM Overvoltage Control... ie, if you ram takes 2.0v, add +0.2v.

Those temps are fine. You are far from the max of 73.3°C:

temps seem normal to me and you can manually control the timings in the BIOS

Temps are a little high for my liking, but if those are the Intel specs, then as stated above you should be fine. Make sure you keep testing with Orthos if you decide to go any further, give it 6 hours or more as normal. Aslong as it doesn't cause any errors you should be fine imo.
