Q6600 replied Thermal Paste

I just reapplied the thermal paste to my cpu/cooler the correct way. I'm at 3.15 ghz 1.28v. I'm running Prime95. Its been up for about 30 mins. now and my results showing......
jumps from 52c-61c. Temp too high for what my fsb/v is?

Core 1 54c-58c
Core 2 57c-61c

If it's a G0, then ~60C peak is no problem at all. The Q6600 G0 has a thermal spec of 71C. As long as those readings are coming from CoreTemp you should be fine - speedfan can be off (low) by 15C due to the 100 tTjunction.

EDIT: Here is Intel's Spec page on the Q6600 SLACR (G0).

Temps will be a little high until the AS5 breaks in.
