Nope it's true.. As long as you get the correct 10W version of the Pump you can perform the modification yourself.. however i would strongly advise against that as it does Void your warranty on the pump with Laing, which is primarily expensive due to having a 50,000 hour Manufacturers warranty as standard (That's more than 5 years constant use)

It's a good easy mod to do but just make sure its worth it

what makes this more likely, is that the second and 4th seem to be bridged too. I once read that when the +12v and PWM line are bridged, a PWM fan would always run at max speed. since this pump also has an RPM sensor-wire, it wouldnt bee too surprising if it supported PWM control.

I don't, if you have something with PWM, give it a try. Worst case is it wouldn't run.

I'm just not sure, the DDC takes a few seconds to fire up once switched on, so I'm not sure how it would handle pulsed power. The 3.2 does undervolt easy enough, havn't tryed PWM though.

id try if i had a DDC.
though, it not being known makes me wonder whether or not the feature was SUCCESSFULLY installed, assuming it is there in the first place.

Good to know on the pumps (18w and 10w)

What font is that that you used in the video? I've seen/used it before. Is it some brush script font? It's nice.

Thanks!
It was the default font in windows movie maker that came with Vista. I just checked it and it's called:

Segoe Print

Seems to show up on my sytem, probably just part of the vista package I guess, I didn't download it or anything.

I looked over their site yesterday here:

and couldn't find the product on their site.

If you know who might be a good contact let me know, I'll try their info email and see if they are interested.
