arg will have to be put on delay until i get money/sell one of my cases. i think i broke my phone and am going to pay for a new one

Sounds interesting.

The only issue with a sphere is the disparity in shapes between the enclosure and the hardware that is installed in it.

The faces of any components that need to protrude from the sphere are flat (i.e. optical drive, display panels). Getting a clean transition from a flat surface to a rounded one can be tricky. But... since you are very good with bondo, I don't think that it will be an issue for you.
