I recently RMAed my tracers. And I got back new ones. But I noticed that my new sticks only have 1 row of LED lights. My old ones had 2 rows of LEDS. Did anyone else notice this? Why did it change?
I dunno, I just got mine back from RMA. Sent in PC2-8000s double sided and got back PC2-8500s double sided. Both kits have the LEDs on both sides......
Doesn't this mean that the single side sticks are no longer D9GMH chips being used? It takes 16 D9GMH chips to make up 1gb, so if they're only on one side, and you can only have 8 chips/side... Am I deducing this right?
