I haven't had any problems with it yet, and I've been using it on my Vista Premium laptop and my XP desktop. Maybe I'm just lucky.

I once had a massive memory leak problem with Firefox, i just kept building up, an up, and up.... must have been something pretty messed up cuz i had to restart my computer when my pagefile got to 2.2GB from my usual 1GB. When i restarted, windows wouldn't load, the pagefile was corrupt, and yes i know it was Firefox because i was watching the memory go up as i was trying to quit it, unsuccessfully.

You see, it's this thing that I've heard all about but have yet to see after using FF on 5 different computers among 3 different OSs.

Firefox crashes on my regularly, while IE knows better than to crash on me.

When it comes down to it, though, just because you've run Firefox on a few different platforms with three different OSes in between each means little in the grand scheme of things considering the extreme MASS of the internet you haven't browsed.

The next time I find something that kills Firefox I'll track you down and have you test it for yourself, if you'd like buddy.

Yeah, I said very specifically that my experience doesn't mean the problem doesn't exist. I'm just very surprised that it hasn't happened to me after 5 computers and 3 OSs.

When is that? The reasons I can think of to use IE are... well there isn't now that Windows Update is available from a third party site to FF(possibly not as reliable, but it works)

Good news for FF, keep it up! (sad to see that safari beats ff2, but oh well)

Safari is quite fast, but it's not nearly as functional as FF. This is why I love FF... Nothing comes close to adblock. If anyone has something better than adblock for another browser, I'd like to know!
uh adblock plus won't let me click on anything in yahoo mail! but it blocks alot of stuff, i like it so far!
