the beta 40 fixes the false reading. if you dont get the beta, you need a 15c offset.

hi,

I also have the striker II with a q6600 g0 but I can't oc it over fsb 289 (multi-9).
Have tried to set the vcore to 1.35-1.40 but always just get the "hardware issue - contact supporter"-bluescreen when windows starts up.
also have pc2-8000 reaper x running at 1000mhz without any prob at auto-voltage.

- have tried to increase NB, SB voltage, decrease ram to 800mhz, linked, unlinked fsb-mem.... but still get the bluescreen - no chance over fsb 289

- have a zalman 9700 LED with pretty low temp while running prime95 - have no idea why I get that bluescreen.

- had bios 0801 and updated to 1001, but nothing changed.

so... could you please post your exact settings for your 3ghz-oc, as well as the 3,4ghz!

Don't use Auto voltage. Some boards tend to over volt, and others under volt.

Hello again,

my system seems to be pretty stable at 3ghz now (9x-333fsb -> 1333qdr).

(q6600 + strikerII formula, pc2-8000 ocz)

~2h prime95 fft

my settings:

vcore 1.325
cpu vtt: 1,38
cpu pll 1.55 (don't know what it is)
nb 1.3
sb 1.5

gtl cpu ref: +30mv
gtl nb ref: +20mv

core1+2: 56-58°
core3+4: 54-56°

now my problems^^:

everest (newest beta) as well as asus ai suite show a vcore of 1.26 instead of 1.325 and my mcp is at 75°C.

no idea how to get the nb temp.
have read a lot about the striker II's heat probs.
many people have mcp/spp >80-90°

so... do you have similar temps on sb with that board? how can I read out my nb temp?

the voltages should be OK? are they?
