E6300 won't go past 2.6 GHz - Page 23

IMO, you should be running AT LEAST 2.2v on the RAM, if not 2.25v.

Because he is trying to run OC'd with 4 sticks. Also, different RAM needs different voltages.

Well, I upped the vcore up one notch, its now at 1.376 in CPU-z. Is this ok for 24\\7 use?
Before I upped it, it would only do 20 mins in orthos, now it does 35+
I played crysis for over an hour and it was fine...

Idle at 34c and load at 58c... Are these ok?

Thanks!

your chip is good from 0.85 to 1.5 volts per intel so yes thats fine so long as your temps are under 61.4

Wow, so 58c is cutting it a little isn't it...

Hmmm, I hate the way the temps suck, but I can't get any higher with lower voltages...

i've been very lucky with my E6400, I can run 3.4 ghz at 1.35 volts but for 24/7 I run 3.2 ghz @ 1.3 volts and my max orthos load is <50

Here is my computer after a week of folding on both cores 100%

Here is the max i've had my chip but didn't like the temps

not necessarily, you are requiring more vcore than me. at 3600 I was only running 1.4 volts (but that was with the Zalman 9500 on my E6400, before I upgraded to the TT120) and at 1.4 volts 3600 was only around a hour orthos stable and too hot for my liking.

My 24/7 clock of 3.2 ghz is actually undervolted from stock at 1.3 (my VID is 1.325 for 2.13 ghz)

seriously, this is wierd, but you may just have an fbs hole. Jump over it, try for 3ghz
